Observation at Forest city golf hotel
The observation is done at Level 6 hotel room balcony with a 8×42 biniculars and a nikon camera with a 100-400mm lens.

Observation record
At about 9:40am; First Oriental Honey Buzzard with the group of about 30 Oriental Honey Buzzard was spotted from the below location around Tanjung Kupang area
Behind the power transmission tower and
Oriental Honey Buzzard thermaling above Tanjung Kupang mountain area before gliding to forest city golf hotel direction.
Distance, Wind direction and temperature
The first Oriental Honey Buzzard was seem at about 2.5 Km away with wind speed of 9km/h and 30.4’C
Most of the raptors seem to thermaling near the surrounding mountain area at Tanjung Kupang

After the Oriental Honey Buzzard gain enough thermal lift at the above location, they fly upward and circle around like a steam rising kettle.
And glide to the forest city golf hotel direction and fly toward the forest city island direction.
The below 2 Oriental Honey Buzzard was flying at least 1 floor higher than the hotel which is 11 floor hight .
Behind the observation area at forest city golf hotel is a link bridge to forest city island. I suspect the migratory raptor that flying through here; flying toward forest city , Singapore Tuas Indonesia Batam and end at their wintering ground.
